What is Rotary?
Rotary is a Global Network of Community Volunteers. Founded in Chicago in 1905 as the world’s first volunteer service organization, Rotary quickly expanded around the globe and there are some 31,000 clubs in more than 165 countries world wide today. Clubs meet weekly for fellowship to discuss local and world topics, Clubs encourage high professional ethical standards and also carry out humanitarian projects to address poverty, health, hunger, education, and the environment. Clubs are nonreligious, nongovernmental and are open to any race, culture, or creed.
Who are Rotarians?
Rotarians are club members who are business and professional leaders volunteering in their communities and abroad to improve lives thru education and humanitarian service.
